Lacey and Spike

Lacey can't seem to get the hang of sitting yet.
What is it with dogs and old slippers/shoes? I won't put my face that close to them and I wear them!
Isn't she pretty? I had to get her napping to get a clear pic. See that green towel in the background? That kitchen towel was hanging from my oven handle. Didn't even realize she stole it until I was editing pics.
Getting to know you, getting to know all about you...........
Spike has to be thinking "this is the girl I'm stuck with for the rest of my life? Looks like it's going to be a celibate life".
Lacey likes camera straps.....and shoe laces (thus the name) and everything else she can grab and pull.......especially strings of all sorts.
Obviously shaken by his new surroundings.

Women for Obama Event in Burlington

We were just getting started and the place was filling up really fast. And, the best part was that everyone was chatting and getting to know each other. The mood was very high. Judi Adams is telling her story of why she is involved and supporting Obama. She put a lot of emphasis on healthcare needs for this country.
Becky Carroll gave a great introduction and follow up to why Obama is working for women's issues. She gave great examples of what he has already done and what he has planned to offer women in the way of equal pay, help with children's issues and those with elderly parents.
The audience listened intently to every word.
The presentation was follwed with a Q&A and then some information on what you can do to get involved. Some people had to leave early, but many wanted to stay and discuss issues and sign up for helping the campaign.

Marge Krupp Fundraiser in Kenosha

The wonderful Dorothy Seeley. The Beautiful Karri Rivera and some guy that kept hitting on her.

Chit chat

Looks like a strategy session to me.
More jibber jabber, that's Kurt Squire on the left. Missed the other guy's name......I'm really bad at this!
You can tell when it's a real democratic fund raiser because we have the best bars!
Intelligent discussions abounded, great drinks, wonderful food, extremely nice people.........this is what a great political gathering looks like for me.

Impeachment Rally Photos, Nov. 27 Milw. City Hall

John Nichols listens intently to questions from the audience. No one was turned away from the mic. due to time and he even stayed later to sign books and talk to people directly.Professor Daniel Maguire speaks with calm conviction and the crowd is completely attentive.
Anette Zeidler, who braved the cold and the walk on crutches, speaks with compassion and a gentleness about what our government should be.
The second row was almost filled with Veteran for Peace. One of the first national organizations to call for impeachment.Rick Kissell was there campaigning for Milwaukee City Treasurer. Rick has been a community activist for many years and I'm sorry to say I can list all his activities.
qqqIt was so filled with people many had to stand in the back for lack of seating. This couple brought their own signs.
Jay and I spotted our friend and fellow BAPster, L.D. Rockwell. The two stood for a quick photo by me.
Of course we had to have our pic.s taken with John. Actually, Jay refused to leave before this. John, always the gentleman, was more than happy to take the time for the pose. I even got a big hug from him earlier.

This guy was awesome. His name is Tyler Traband and he came out to play some music before the presentation began. It was so nice to have some great music instead of the echoing of the huge rotunda. I even got a free CD!
This is a shot of the audience from about half way back. If you look up you can barely make it out, but there are people on the floors above since you couldn't see well from the back of the main floor. My camera doesn't have much of a zoom so you can't see them, but both Ken and Deb Hall showed up for this event.
